I just found out that I’m getting a new channel on DirecTV starting March 1st: Chiller, a horror-themed channel from NBC/Universal.

They’ll be showing series like Twin Peaks, American Gothic, Monsters, Friday the 13th and G vs E, along with all of the horror movies in the Universal stable, plus more.

Oh, HELL yeah.

I just got a call from my Mom — she had told me earlier this week that she wouldn’t feel better about recent events until she could actually see me, and see that I was OK — and today she called to tell me that she’s flying out and will be here tomorrow!

She’ll be visiting until next Saturday. I get a week of Mom-love, visits from the grocery-fairy, etc. I think it’ll go a long way towards making me feel better, too.
