Signing Off Until Friday….

I’m headed out to Vegas tomorrow for the GAMA Trade Show, and will be back on Friday.

This year should be interesting. Not only am I busier than I have ever been at a GTS (covering marketing duties for two seperate clients, as well as trying to line up some future freelance work for myself), but there promises to be political highjinx a-plenty, as a concerted effort is being made by a group of industry pros (headed by Ryan Dancey) to take down the current GAMA Board and their proposal for a new set of by-laws.

House of Bush, House of Saud

Salon.com is publishing a series of excerpts from journalist Craig Unger’s forthcoming book, “House of Bush, House of Saud”, detailing the close connections between the two families and the ramifactions for American policy. The first installment, posted today, provides details and eyewitness accounts of a secret airlift of dozens of Saudi royals and members of the bin Laden family, authorized by the Bush White House in the hours following 9/11. Among the airliftees was an alleged al-Qaida go-between, who may have known about the terror attacks in advance. Nice.
