If It Walks Like A Duck, and Quacks Like A Duck….

It seems that I generated a fair bit of controversy by posting my opinion that the election was possibly rigged (judging from the comments left, and the emails I’ve received).

So, naturally, I’ve decided to stir the pot further by posting the following:

Regarding the bizarre discrepancies between the exit polls and the results–In states with a paper trail for the voting, exit polls were within a margin of error of the actual results:

However, In states without any backup method of tracking votes (i.e. the Diebold states), exit polls were wildly inaccurate, and usually pointed to Kerry doing better than the actual results:

Again, as I said in the comments of my last post….maybe not a smoking gun, but I’m definately smelling primer and propellant.

Gaming in Middle-Earth

Got together this weekend, and made characters for what will hopefully be my first regular gaming campaign in far too long. I’m running Decipher’s all-but-officially-abandoned Lord of the Rings RPG. I’m setting my chronicle, called “The Third Shadow”, about 50 years into the Fourth Age, involving the rise of a new evil. As far as characters go, I’m looking at a Gondorian noble, an Elven shipwright, a Dwarven warrior, an Elven warrior, a Hobbit rogue, a Rohirrim woman looking to become a Ranger, and an Elven minstrel. Should be fun.

By the way, for my players especially, but anyone who might be interested: Check out “The Hall of Fire”–a fan-produced ezine of LOTR RPG support, in pdf format. Looks to be some interesting stuff in it.
