With regards to my previous post, where I said that I suspected that WOTC’s announcement that they’re revising the GSL was primarily to deflect criticism at GenCon?

Turns out, I was right.

“Linae and I wanted to actually release the changes to the license prior to the show but when it became clear that wasn’t going to happen we decided to make the announcement of our intentions to stem off questions regarding the license.”

I have to admit, I like the candor.
