I’m extremely keen on purchasing the Modesty Blaise set that I discussed in this earlier post, but it’s only available in India.

I’ve tried ordering from a few online shops (Oxford Books, AUTSun, etc.), but the transaction is continually declined — I’m assuming because of the restriction on sales to India only for that set.

Does anyone reading this have any connections in India who’d be willing to pick up a set and send it Kansasward? If so, have them drop me a line at gms@adamantentertainment.com, or via comments here. I’d be ever so grateful….

I’ve been listening to the soundtrack quite a bit, so I’m definitely going.

Got up at 7:30 this morning to catch the Manchester Derby (United v City) live on Setanta — having caved in and finally ordered the channel to increase the dosage of my football addiction.

Getting up at 7:30 on a Sunday should be an indication of the depths of my fervor.

Of course, I don’t think the cats or the dog were quite prepared for the stream of curses that erupted in the second half, when Ronaldo decided that it was a good idea to nearly catch the goddamned ball during a header.

Um…Christiano? Don’t know quite how to break it to ya, but hands aren’t allowed. I’m an American, and even *I* know that.
