Penguin India has reprinted the entire Modesty Blaise series in a “retro revival” set. Original English-language text of the Peter O’Donnell novels, but only available in India.

I’ve found online dealers in India who ship to the US. The set is 2900 Rupees (about 58 bucks), but I figure the shipping will add considerably to that.

Quantum of Solace
I have just purchased two tickets for the adults-only “VIP Balcony” seating at the 10:30 showing of the new James Bond film, on Friday (when it opens here in the US).
The Legends theatre is a half-hour drive from here, but it’s where we saw Casino Royale two years ago — and after seeing a Bond film in that environment– leather seats, full bar, servers, etc — I can’t ever go back to the old ways….
