I spotted this over at Warren Ellis’ weblog—
A nifty Flash-based synthesizer–Each of the five outer radius icons contains a tool bar which allows you to select from one of thirty-six sounds. After you’ve selected your sounds, roll and click on the target area to produce different sound textures.
It’s a hypnotic little time-waster. I’m actually considering using Wiretap (an application on my iMac which allows me to record anything going through the audio system) to use some of the soundscapes that I create with this Flash synth as the basis for a larger work.
