George W. Bush, earlier this week:

” “I think the national anthem ought to be sung in English, and I think people who want to be a citizen of this country ought to learn English and they ought to learn to sing the national anthem in English.”

Although….

It turns out that candidate Bush used to sing the anthem in Spanish himself during campaign appearances in 1999, and, as President, had Jon Secada sing the National Anthem in English and Spanish at his first Inaugural ceremony.

Say it with me now:

“Oops.”

Let’s see if we can get the approval ratings down into the 20s by the time the midterm elections come around, shall we?

Where: The Tea House of Translucent Jade. (AKA, our place. Directions available for those who’ve never been — email me.)

When: This Saturday. Two-ish until whenever.

What: Watching Wuxia films, creating characters for the Dragon Fist adventure playtest, ordering Chinese food for dinner, etc.

Bring: Yourselves. Any film that you think you’d like to watch (we have a bunch, so this is optional on your part). Snackage as required. We will have some stuff here, and, as mentioned above, Chinese food is in the offing for dinner.

This is open to Significant Others, whether or not they’re interested in playtest….bring ’em along!
