What was mine? The one that really sticks in my head was this:
Star Trek #36 — March 1976 (which means I was almost 7 years old).
I stuck pretty much to sci-fi stuff — Trek, Marvel’s Star Wars comics, etc. — I didn’t jump into the superhero genre until 1978, when my grandmother gave me the following:
DC Comics Presents #1 — July/Aug 1978.
