Techdirt points to a story about how Livejournal has apparently been hijacking user links to ecommerce sites, and substituting its own affiliate codes.
I was concerned about the possibility of shady behavior when Livejournal was sold to the Russian firm, and it looks like I was right to have doubts.
I’ve been seriously considering ditching LJ in favor of a stand-alone branded website running WordPress. Time to think about that a bit more.
No FM this week, kids — I’ve been redonkulously hella busy (as the hipsters say) this week.
Plus, to be honest, I’m not even sure anyone’s reading them any longer…. it might be time to wrap it up.

Lin-Manuel Miranda — the creator and star of the first Tony-Award-Winning hip-hop musical, In The Heights, performed at an evening of spoken word at the White House last May — and did an absolutely brilliant piece about Alexander Hamilton.
