Bout time somebody stood up: Gore blasts domestic spying program.
In the speech, he called Bush’s warrantless surveillance program “a threat to the very structure of our government,” and that “the president of the United States has been breaking the law repeatedly and persistently.”
Go, Al, go!
Yeah, must be nice not to have to get votes anymore.
Wow. . .nice. Good for him!
So sad that he “lost” in 2000! Life would be *sooooo* much better with him in office (of course, life would probably be better with Ted Bundy in office, *anyone* but Bush!). Hear hear and good for him! Do I hear revolution brewing? (I WISH!!!!!)
On another note, my oh my has he gained some weight!
That picture is from last year and is, quite possibly, the worst picture of Al Gore they could find. So of course, they quite purposefully ran with that one. If you look at the slideshow, you’ll see other pictures from the actual speech where he doesn’t look nearly as bad.
Your “liberal media” at work, once again.
Hilary gave a similarly themed speech as well. Who knows, maybe the Dem’s are growing some balls.
Yes, another Gore-Clinton ticket! Just hand the election to the Republicans.
