So the big-ass snowstorm that they warned us about last weekend? The one that had everyone running around freaking out because it was going to pound us into oblivion? We got an inch and a half.
Today? When we were told that precipitation would start as rain, before changing over to snow right at the end for a “bit of a dusting, with little to no accumulation expected”….?
Yeah. Constant blowing-down snow since about 10 a.m., no rain at all. Still going strong, over 3 hours later. Even had thunder and lightning. They’re guesstimating that we’re going to get 5 to 7 inches.
Gotta love Kansas.

it started raining in olathe about 9:45am, then changed to freezing rain about an hour later. now what’s coming down looks like fake snow pellets.
Meanwhile, in Houston, it’s clear and 75.
yeah – they were flailing about the “Big Storm” in Chicago, and now it’s going to miss us. Probably because it’s in Kansas,
At the very least, it was good weather to stay inside with a cuppa and watch the Liverpool-Pompey match.
All I want for Xmas is for Benitez to lock up Mascherano. :-)
Tomorrow morning looks promising here. Even though it was 75 today, it’ll be 37 in the AM, just in time for Man U and Everton.
