Was stört es die Eiche, wenn sich die Sau daran kratzt?

Gotta love German expressions. I have to remember this one, given to me by Arkaengel over at The Phantom Zone, in response to some more random shit being flung at me.

The loose translation: “The oak is not diminished by the wild pigs scratching themselves at its base.” (Or, according to Babelfish: “What disturbs it the oak, if the sow scratches itself to it?”…uh…yeah.)

A helluva lot more elegant than “don’t sweat the small stuff.”
