Officially Hating Summer

Sick again/still.

More sinus pain, again keeping me up until around 8 this morning when I finally passed out. Slept until 1. Don’t really feel at all rested.

My allergies are completely and utterly kicking my ass this summer. More than ready for Fall to start. RIGHT NOW, please.

On top of everything else, my stomach is rebelling from the combination of sinus drainage and the sheer weight of the pharmacological array that I’ve been shoving down my gullet.

Joy.

I have writing to do, as well as the normal day-to-day Adamant stuff. None of it is getting done, because I can barely focus.

Let’s see….

Grouse, bitch, whine, whine, whinge.

Yeah — that about covers it.

  1. I am so sorry to hear that you are not doing well.

You know, I noticed that my sinuses tanked by later in the evening on Sunday… was not doing much better…and was struggling as well.

What’s the percentage shot that you are having the trouble you are having due to what might be living in your AC system? Meaning, have you guys ever thought of having the vents cleaned? It might be something to bring up to your landlord, considering what you’ve been dealing with over the last couple of months.

At the very least, you might want to consider a couple of air purifiers…for like your office and your bedroom.

    D.

  2. Try some really EFFIN’ spicy food. It’ll clear your head out and help the rest of the system too.

Unless you’re one of those strange species that can’t stand spicy food.

  3. The only season that I don’t complain about is Fall, because it’s the only season where I don’t have respiratory/allergy/sinus problems.

  4. Yeah, even with my allergy array and the shots I’m feeling bleah. But at least it’s just bleah. Sorry we didn’t hook up on Sunday. I was just to whipped after all was said and done.

  5. I’ve been suffering sinus pain due to the weather. Thunderstorms = barometric pressure changes = sinus pain for me.

If you have allergies and crap, I would strongly encourage you to change your filters every three months, whether they look like they need it or not. Also: Xlear!
