Sad

By now, you’ve probably heard about our Asshole-in-Chief’s latest “Whoops — that’s a microphone” screw up at the G-8 lunch today.

His brilliant summation of the Middle East descending into a wider war? ” See, the irony is what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit…and it’s over.”

Yes, folks — the President of the most powerful nation on Earth, ruminating on what “they” need to do.

…plus, a ridiculously simplistic view of how things work over there.

If you needed “slam-dunk” evidence that this cracker has no fucking clue what he’s doing, there you go.

I can’t wait to see how The Faithful spin this. Probably another riff on the “plain-spoken” thing.

  1. There are those in the world who would like to believe that Bush is actually a bright man who is putting on the whole “I’m an idiot” thing as an act.

It’s moments like these that prove the truth of it. He isn’t bright or informed enough to even be considered an idiot.

And that’s the leader of the free world.

The dead giveaway is that he was proud of his academic record…

  2. I can’t believe I am saying this, and defending the idiot son of an asshole. But, who the fuck cares that he said the word Shit on a microphone. The news put a disclaimer that the language may offend some viewers. WTF???!!!

  3. Another example of the media’s “Pay No Attention To The Man Behind The Curtain” strategy — all they want us to focus on is the “OMG HE SAID SHIT”……and totally ignore the complete lack of any diplomatic savvy or hell, even basic knowledge of the region’s history that the candid recording displays.

  4. That is the truth of it. I was really surprised when driving home last night that NPR ran the sound byte leaving in the profanity. It struck me as shocking.

But then, that was the point…all misdirection…
