DC’s fifth direct-to-DVD animated film will be Green Lantern: First Flight, produced by Bruce Timm, with Hal Jordan voiced by Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Christopher Meloni.

Release date isn’t until July 2009, though. That should whet the appetite for the supposed live-action GL film due in December of 2010….

Hell yeah.

Tickets purchased — 2 seats, adults-only VIP balcony seating, Legends theater, Thursday night midnight show.

It’ll mean that we’ll be in the theater until 3 a.m., and won’t get home until 3:30….

…but we’re Geeks. That’s how we roll, yo.
