Pulp-tastic

Reading Chris Roberson’s blog today, I had my eyes blasted out of my skull by the following bit of pure Pulp Awesomeness:

That’s the work of artist Scott Godlewski — one of the founders of Mysterious Adventure Magazine, a print-on-demand quarterly comics anthology (available at IndyPlanet.com) that mixes pulp, golden age and silver age influences.

The first issue (Spring) is available, the Summer issue is almost ready. Cover of the Spring issue:

Given Diamond’s recent policy changes which make it harder for small publishers to get distribution through them, internet retail and POD is more and more becoming the source for this kind of output, and I for one am going to do my part to try to point people in the direction of the niftyness than can be found.
