After lunch, I browsed for a few minutes in the Oread Bookstore here at KU. They had a stack of Harry Dresden books on display, with a notice that Jim Butcher will be making an in-store appearance on Thursday, April 12th, from 4 to 6 p.m.
For those of you in the KC area, he’s going to be in your neck of the woods the day before (Wednesday, April 11th) at the 91st and Metcalf Borders.
Figured that some of you would be interested.
I lucked into seeing Jim Butcher and his wife Shannon (who’s just published a romance novel of her own) doing an appearance at a Borders here in STL a few weeks ago. Cool folks.
Not trying to drop names or such, but we used to game with him for a couple years a few years back. He’s as snarky and quick with the humor as Harry Dresden is in the books. Shannon, their son and their dog (oddly enough) are super cool folk too.
Now, the task is being able to wait patiently for White Night.
will it be the same timeframe?
Dunno. I suppose it’s probably up at his website….
