No Music Today…

Friday Music is taking a week’s hiatus — obviously, given the events of the past week, I haven’t been able to go hunting for any cool stuff to share with you. Next week, I’ll get back to it.

  1. One can well understand that. There is some stuff I want to turn you onto, actually, if Darren can get the files converted over to MP3 over the weekend.

    D.

  2. Incidentally, I’ve been banging my head against the hard surface of your choice trying to find Bryan Ferry’s “Is your Love Strong Enough” since iTunes inexplicably doesn’t have it in their library.

If you somehow came across it somewhere, and I don’t know, had a copy you need archived anywhere remotely, I could certainly help you with that.

(You could of course make fun of me for listening to Bryan Ferry san Roxy Music, as any sane person might, but why not make jokes about my Chris DeBurgh music collection, it even makes me laugh).

  3. No clog dancing for you, young man. Certainly not until that bite you took on the leg, after wrestling with four starved velociraptors in your recent adventures in the 4th dimension, heals.

  4. He probably knows right where to find it, since he made the offsite backup copy of “Avalon” for me, I’m sure he came across the other Bryan Ferry stuff during the process. :)

  5. I shan’t make fun — Ferry’s “Boys & Girls” (with “Sensation”, “Don’t Stop The Dance”, etc), is one of my favorite albums.

Here’s my copy of “Is Your Love Strong Enough?”—-sometimes you can find it listed as “Tangerine Dream, feat. Bryan Ferry and David Gilmour”.
