Hollywood Reporter has a big article about a two-hour “backdoor pilot film” which will bring The Saint back to TV….possibly starring James Purefoy from HBO’s Rome as Simon Templar.

Roger Moore is one of the producers, and the film will be shot in Budapest, New York and Puerto Rico. The pilot is also produced by Bill MacDonald (who co-created Rome) and Barry Levinson (who will direct the opener).
