I’m a sucker for the “Highlander” stuff : “Princes of the Universe”, “Who Wants To Live Forever”, “Give Me The Prize” and “It’s A Kind of Magic.”
If I had to choose, I’d have to say that it’s a tie between the first three, with “Magic” coming in second. :)
;-)
I got to speak w/ them on RockLine when they were out promoting that album. Somewhere I’ve got a signed vinyl extended single of “Red, Red, Rose.”
I remember watching the movie & hearing Freddy singing “New York, New York” on the cab radio. OHHHH, what I wouldn’t give for a recording of that. ;-)
Forgive the pathetic segue…
But speaking of music I just made a personal discovery that will change my life forever (or at least my attitude every time I listen): Storm and the Balls. http://www.stormlarge.com. As a music afficionado, you’ve probably heard of them already, and forgive me for coming late to the party. If you haven’t, check ’em out. Given the breadth and depth of your palate, I think you’ll find their music most appealing (Abba-Gadda-Davida is worth the price of admission alone).
Getting back to your own list, I’ve got 3 of the 21 cited above. Which I guess means I’m 1/7th as cool as you are. Which is still pretty cool. Yeah, baby.
Pretty!
You like “Magic?” ;-)
What’s your favourite song from that album?
