Amanda Palmer (with Vermilion Lies) went to the Dickens Christmas Faire in San Francisco, and filmed a video for “What’s the Use of Wond’rin?”

The BBC is reporting that the 11th Doctor will be introduced in a special Doctor Who Confidential episode on Saturday, January 3rd.

The casting was apparently confirmed over Christmas, and the new Doctor starts filming the 2010 season this coming summer.

David Tennant, the current (10th) Doctor, will appear in four more special episodes throughout the course of 2009 — which begin filming this month.
