I’m going to do my best to maintain a good mood today. It’s brilliantly sunny, with a cloudless sky, the temperature is a delightful 72 degrees — perfect, in other words.
To that end, I’m going to avoid political posts today. Today’s updates will be of things that DO NOT piss me off.
For example — the weather forecast from the National Weather Service for the forthcoming Labor Day weekend — the opening weekend of the Kansas City Renaissance Festival:
Saturday: A 30 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80.
Sunday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 78.
Labor Day: Partly cloudy, with a high near 77.
Wow.
Today feels like a good day to feel good. :)

Hopefully, that means we’ll have big crowds and a fantastic opening.
