Exit “The Decider,” Enter…..”THE COMMANDER GUY!!!”

This is the guy who is holding our country (and Iraq) hostage to his whims.

At a speech yesterday, Bush said:

“The question is, ‘Who ought to make that decision, the Congress or the commanders? As you know, my position is clear – I’m the Commander Guy.”

He’s the Commander Guy.

No, I didn’t believe it when I read it either…..but here’s the video on YouTube.

Check the DSM IV symptoms of Substance-Induced Persisting Dementia, and tell me that W’s Coke days aren’t a factor here.

  1. I…I…

Oh, Sweet Monkey Jesus, we don’t have a President, we have an action figure!

Too bad he’s got kung fu grip on our civil rights…

    Love,
    Rowan

  2. the sound differential when he says it… Sounds like its dubbed to me.

I’m not saying that he says idiotic things, just that the clip there sounds like its dubbed, and dubbed badly.

  3. Um, no. I picked that one specifically because the user turned up the volume on the line in question.

That’s the only “differential” there. You can read his lips, you can find reports of the quote all over the news media.

Sorry to disappoint you, but sometimes a Fucktard is actually a Fucktard.

  4. More to the point, *this* Fucktard is ALWAYS a Fucktard. I think the Fark.com headline put it best the other day:

President Bush breaks out his veto crayon, takes a bite, and draws a frownie face on the Emergency Iraq Spending Bill

Weasel. And I’m sorry to any ACTUAL weasels I may have insulted accidentally.

  5. While you’re looking at the DSM-IV, check out Narcissistic Personality Disorder (I think that’s the moniker). It fits him to a T.

  6. Wait, is that like being the Family Guy? Only with a gun?

And of course, the reason cited for why Congress shouldn’t make the decisions is because the generals have actual military experience and have fought in wars and worked in Iraq, etc etc etc….

I don’t think our Commander Guy has any of that either.

  7. Re: Wait, is that like being the Family Guy? Only with a gun?

I love the whole “commanders on the ground should make the decisions” argument.

Of course, nobody (and I mean NOBODY) is pointing out that when the commanders disagreed with Bush (see Generals Shinseki and Abizaid), he removed them and replaced them with ones who agree with him (Patreus).

So apparently, that should be “Commanders who agree with the Commander Guy” should make the decisions.

  8. If this keeps up my soul will just be one big bruise. Ouch. Remind me to save the issue of Mother Jones with the article “Iraq for Dummies”. Its really good in a “Oh wow we really are stupid” way.

  9. I’m waiting for someone to post a pic of him with the Stylish Commander Guy Uniform and (especially) Helmet (red and white, topped by a light bulb) superimposed.

  10. I love how he makes himself look more like an idiot than anyone else could. Now if only that translated into people not supporing his idiotic ass.
